HELP! My Daughters turtle got stuck in a glue mouse trap?

Need Help. How do I safely release my daughters turtle from a glue mouse trap? He crawled out of his cage this morning, and we finally found him right now. All 4 legs including his bottom shell are all stuck in the glue. What should I use to get him safely out. Daughter is extremely upset as well as the rest of the family. Please, any ideas?

Baby or mineral oil will both work really well. Rub at the edges and pull off a little at a time re-oiling as you go. Wash the turtle in dawn dish soap once you get the trap off to remove the oils from the turtles shell, but be careful not to get it into or near its mouth it could be toxic to it. rinse the turlte off really good to make sure there is none left on it.
