I have 2 winter white dwarf Russian hamsters and I recommend them to everyone.

-winter white hamsters sleep less than other breeds and you can play with them more -till the hamsters tuck you in =D

-winter whites nip very rarely comparing to the Campbell hamsters which have a reputation for nipping.They are not recommended if you have small children. And they aren't recommend neither if you are a scardy cat like me an are afraid of biting.

-Campbell's dwarf hamsters do live together as pairs in the wild, but in captivity they often fight and same sex-pairs or groups get along only rarely while winter whites get along very well as a couple

-You know why winter whites are called so because in the winter they change their color and become white. They are very very cute.
